Bore, footprint & center height
Compare journal fit, flange pilot, bolt pitch, height and sensing-axis direction.
Flange bearing and pillow block force transducers for roll-to-roll machinery. From the shaft journal to the PLC, specify the complete sensing chain.
Match the mounting first. Then select the force range, bearing arrangement and signal chain.
20 N–5 kN · Ø12–35 mm / ½–1¼ in
500 N–100 kN · Existing housing / M10–M30 bolts
5–500 N · Roller OD Ø30–100 mm
10–1,000 N · Roll face width 50–300 mm
Wrap angle, sensing direction and roller weight determine the working range. A load cell bearing supports a rotating journal; an under-block sensor measures the bearing housing reaction.
For two-ended rollers, review both support reactions. The A+B amplifier adds calibrated channel forces; total web tension also requires the correct geometric gain and tare setting.
Calculate radial force →Configure a factory-matched pair with a dual-channel tension amplifier. Keep left, right and total force visible while sending an agreed signal to your PLC.
